Rusk Rural WSC has had the same policy for years, the bills are printed and sent out at the end of every month and bills are due on the 15th of every month unless otherwise stated on the bill, the bill becomes delinquent on the 16th of the month and normally the last day to pay is the 25th and meters are normally locked on the 26th of every month(THE LOCK DATE WILL BE PRINTED ON THE BILL). These dates can be different during different months. As everyone knows the postal service is not very good at getting the bills to the customers, this is by no fault of RRWSC the bills are being sent out and once they are taken to the post office it is out of our hands with that being said NON- RECEIPT OF A BILL IS NO EXCUSE FOR NON-PAYMENT,IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THEIR ACCOUNT IS IN GOOD STANDING. We no longer send out second notices (since June 2025) Customers are encouraged to advise about their account if bill is not received by the 1st-3rd of the month. We do offer e-bill customers can choose to have their bill emailed to them(if signed up for e-bill no paper bill will be sent) to do this you can go to www.ruskruralwsc.com and sign up also customer’s can choose to set their account up on automatic pay with a credit/debit card on the website as well, if this option is applied the payment will come out on the due date every month and a 4% convenience fee of what you pay will be CHARGED every month, in the office we offer draft with a checking account- this is done on the 10th of every month.
